Nectar of The Lotus Ritual

Are You A Mama That Has Lost Her Sensual Spark? Then This Practice Was Made For You, Mama!

A Note on Breathwork in This Practice

It’s important to remember that the breath is not the practice, it’s simply one of the doorways. The real medicine of The Nectar of the Lotus Ritual comes from presence, connection, and the capacity of your nervous system to meet the experience.

If an activated breath feels overwhelming, it is always better to soften and breathe naturally. Even the gentlest breath, when woven with intention, can open space for healing and self-love. The power of this ritual lies not in forcing intensity, but in resourcing yourself, meeting your body where it is, and allowing compassion to guide the way.

Breathwork Contraindications

This meditation and bodywork ritual is for educational and wellbeing purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for medical, therapeutic, or psychological care. Please listen to your body with kindness and honour your boundaries. If at any point the practice feels uncomfortable or overwhelming, you are free to pause, rest, or adapt the experience. If you have any medical conditions, recent surgery, or concerns about engaging in breathwork, bodywork, or self-touch, please seek clearance from a qualified healthcare provider before beginning. Your body’s wisdom always comes first. It is recommended that you read the notes on breathwork and breathwork contraindications before engaging in the practice.

Please avoid or adapt this practice if you are experiencing:

  • Pregnancy - no active breathwork or breath holds, simply work with the natural rhythm of your organic breath

  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders

  • Cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or history of stroke

  • Severe asthma or other significant respiratory conditions

  • Glaucoma or detached retina

  • Diagnosed psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or severe anxiety disorders

  • Recent surgery, concussion, or major physical injury

  • Any situation where hyperventilation or strong breath practices are not advised by your healthcare provider

A Note On Pregnancy & Breast Massage

There is an exquisite pathway of connection and bliss that flows between the breasts, womb, and cervix. When we touch, hold, or bring awareness here, we are honouring the life-giving intelligence of the body and deepening into love, safety, and connection. This practice can be a profound source of comfort and pleasure in pregnancy, and illuminate the pathways to birthing with bliss.

A gentle note: If you are at risk of preterm labour (for example, if you’ve experienced a previous preterm birth, had surgery on the cervix, have a shortened cervix, increased amniotic fluid, or are carrying twins or more), nipple stimulation should be avoided as it may encourage contractions. Instead, you can simply cup your breasts, or rest one hand over your heart and the other over your belly, inviting your body back into a state of comfort, tenderness, and love.
